Mother's day is always a favourite holiday to design for, because WOWZA, spring flowers are so beautiful! I'm so happy to be back to designing with rannunculus, peonies, snowball viburnum, icelandic poppies and more.
As a kid, my older sister & I would be allowed to take the bus to the nearest city, about a twenty minute ride, and after we'd spent a good amount of our pocket money on trinkets and (more likely for us) books to bury our noses in, we'd always make our last stop the flower stall at the bus station. Buying a bouquet of sweet smelling freesia to give to our mum was a must do, because we loved how much she loved it! There really is no better luxury than being gifted beautiful flowers, and for Mother's Day they make the most perfect gift I can think of. And yes, flowers are absolutely still my go to gift for my Mom even after all these years.
