Periwinkle Studio Original Art Collections
A rotating series of original artworks by Toronto floral designer and artist Jess McEwen. Released in small seasonal collections throughout the year, these works explore colour, memory, flowers, pattern, and joyful everyday beauty through a modern folk-inspired lens. Each collection is created in limited quantities and displayed both online and inside the Periwinkle Flowers studio shop.
Jess McEwen is a floral designer and self-taught artist whose work blends bold colour, playful pattern, and floral storytelling. Inspired by gardens, vintage textiles, nature, and gathered objects, her paintings combine a modern folk-art sensibility with an expressive, joyful approach to shape and composition.
“Heirloom” Collection -
Heirloom is a collection inspired by the wild hedgerows, cottage gardens, and treasured floral memories of Jess’s youth in the English countryside. Bold blooms unfold across striped, chequered, and polka dot backgrounds, combining nostalgia with playful modern colour. The works explore the feeling of inherited beauty — the flowers, fabrics, gardens, and visual traditions that quietly stay with us and shape the way we see the world.
